English pronunciation instruction and correction

English pronunciation instruction has changed over the last decades and its goals and priorities have shifted to fit various sociolinguistic periods. In this English as a Lingua Franca era, this book puts forward which pronunciation features are perceived to be essential for learners and what the most suited approaches for teaching them would be, based on an explorative study.
